Alyssia is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) on our Equine Assisted Therapy team. She is a dedicated and passionate individual. She loves working in mental health and incorporating experiential approaches to therapy with horses. She provides therapy to individuals and groups utilizing diverse clinical approaches. Her favourite approaches are mindfulness, Dialectic Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. Alyssia has a diverse clinical background in mental health and addictions with youth and adults in different treatment and clinical settings. Alyssia’s empathetic and holistic approach is warm and genuine, and she treats every client with respect.
